Does exactly what it says.
GraphicConverter has been around forever. It’s rock-solid, reliable, and does exactly what it says it does. Want to take 500 TIFF files, turn them all into low-res jpg and high-res png files for web use, scale them, flip them horizontally, and rename them appropriately? Done. Do you need to do the same with a bunch of old Apple IIGS graphics files you got from a random floppy disk? Easy. Import 128 images from an old defunct camera format and export them as Nokia telephone logos? No problem.
If you need a Photoshop replacement, I’d go with Pixelmator instead. If you need a workhorse that knows the difference between bicubic interpolation and box scaling, this will be your go-to program.
