I have been using GraphicConverter for many years, and nothing that I have found has quite the power and consistency of this app! When you maintain an e-commerce site, there can often be hundreds or thousands of images that need to be processed in one way or several. This tool saves me time, and makes me look good to my clients! Thanks Thorsten!

I have been using Graphic Converter for a few years and it just gets better all the time. This new version is a major step forward and Mr Lemke’s client service is as prompt, personal and helpful as ever.

I have been using this software for years. Never had any issue with it (except when I tell PC-users what Graphic Converter can do for me and i get asked what the equivalent is in Windows land). Initially, I purchased it to convert photos to jpg or gif under mac OS 5 or 6. Still use it as my primary tool for photos. Probably don’t use (and know) more than 1% of its possibilities, which I always discover already exists when I dream about a new functionality. I am happy.

I have used GraphicConverter as my primary graphic application for many years and it just keeps getting better and better. More features and the ability to handle any graphic format you throw at it. Works great for editing images, browsing and organizing slideshows. And on top of that, the support by the developer is second to none – response to any queries is usually within a few hours. Ive used GraphicConverter 6x for quite awhile and decided to finally upgrade. The app helps me manage size of my images by scaling, colour resolution and renaming (from JPG to PNG). Im a total novice when it comes to anything graphic so appreciate the ease of use of GC. Look forward to using the newest release.

I’ve been using GraphicConverter for twelve years or more. Like a good wine it gets better with age. The developers keep adding new features and capabilities. It can do almost anything its very expensive competitors can do for a fraction of the price. I highly recommend it for all your graphics needs. I’m glad to see it is now more widely available on the App Store – HOWEVER, because of Apple’s sandboxing restrictions, some of GraphicConverter’s advanced features are not available in the App Store version, but the average user may not need these features. I would suggest you visit the Lemke Software site and download the “test” version before you buy from either source.

I lost my serial number. I wrote to Lemke. And within the hour, he sent me back my serial number. Fast and reliable customer service, even in the Holidays season, WOW. (Great app too.)

Graphic Converter is a superb app. I have used it for years to open and make basic adjustments to myriad types of image files. The use of the ‘Swiss Army Knife’ in the app icon is quite justified. However… The version you purchase here is hobbled by Apple’s ‘sandboxing’. For instance, the App Store version will no longer open .pct files created by Apple’s own QuickTime Player 7 Pro. So legacy files may be unopenable - a real shame since the version you buy directly from LemkeSoft has no such limitation. BTW just ask him and you will get a licence for the ‘full’ version. Superb and prompt customer service. IMO obviosly you’d be better off buying directly ))

Absolutely a “must have” application for any mac person. Only problem is that Apple “sandboxes” application from the App Store. I had a tech issue that the developer was very quick to respond to. The software from his site worked like a charm, overcoming the issue from the App store. Developer send me a new version and key at no charge, excellent customer service. Highly recommend the software, both for what it does and the fantastic support from the developer. Ive been a customer for many many years.

Because of restrictions of the App Store, GraphicsConverter wasn’t able to work with PhotoCD formats. Great support from Thorsten allowed me to install the version from his site and get up and running. Thanks!

I have used all previous version. This one is terrific except it does not allow to designate an external editor, like all the others. I emailed to Thorsten Lemke of Lemke Software GmbH and he fixed it for me. On many occasions my specific requested were dealt with promptly. Great customer response and support. It appears that Thorsten himself does most of it. Also, has been around for the longest time and developed with the times. Love GC.

I have been an enthusiastic user of GraphicConverter for almost 15 years (the first time I bough a license was in 2000) and the new version seems to be greater than ever; there are, however, two bugs in the version distributed by the Apple Store which should be urgently fixed: the simple brightnes-contrast function seems not to work properly with grayscale pictures, and the "save as" jpg of a previousy png file does not work at all…I hope this will be fixed as soon as possible, with the usual Lemke precision.

This is a great app, works smoothly even with very large files and can convert images in a huge amount of formats. I’m using GraphicConverter since several years ago and through various versions always with satisfaction. It’s constantly improving and the support is very thorough and fast.

I’ve been using Graphic Converter for years and it just keeps getting better. Beats the competition hands down in ease of use and it has all the important basic features and is also capable of doing most sophisticated graphic work too. If you are skeptical of Adobe’s “cloud” and don’t want to pay their “subscription", then Graphic Converter is for you.

Graphic Converter has been my Go-To graphics program since it’s inception. I tell ALL my Mac friends that it’s a MUST HAVE on their computer. GC9 is the latest and greatest and I’m looking forward to discovering the details that were improved. I have utilized their CONTACT email in prior versions and even yesterday - and am pleased to report that I received an return email almost immediately. My issue was addressed and I am an extremely happy camper... I would definetly recommend this program to all my friends.

I am an avid mac user and am a scientist by profession. I ran into graphic converter at least 10 years ago now and its been a fundamental piece of my "toolkit" right along side Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Safari, iPhoto, Mail and EndNote. These are the workhosrses for my work at the office and at home. There are so many excellent and easy to use features on graphic converter that you dont readily find elsewhere. Ive also on occassion had questions and comments and the developer is very responsive. Cheers!

This new app store version is nothing like Graphic Converter 8, an older version from several years ago. Many of the dialogs and shortcuts are familiar so it feels very natural but the new inilne editing controls are amazing and easily to pick up. I wish I had upgraded immediately, I’m far more productive in this new version than in the older one.

I have been using GC for a very long time, something like 10 years. Opens any kind of image file, has a very good editor, and is great for browsing image files and doing slide shows. It does NOT organize your image files, and I like that very much - it doesn’t intrude and build its own database, but rather just works with whatever file structure you create. And the support is phenomenal. One caveat: I usually have purchased directly from lemkesoft; I purchased the GC 9 upgrade through the app store and because of the sandbox it doesn’t do everything that the direct-from-lemke version does. I emailed lemkesoft and they replied right away with a license to the non-sandboxed version and I was able to get all my functionality back. So even the only negative is no big deal at all. Great product; great company.

I’ve been a GC user since version 3 and it continues to impress. With a feature set and capabilities nearly equivalent to Adobe’s PS CC at a fraction of the price, this is a smart alternative if you want to avoid the recurring charges that come with the cloud-based business model. Lemke has always been great at continuous improvment and adding features to Graphic Converter without normally charging existing users for the upgrade, and their customer service is excellent! Where else will you get a personal reply from the company owner within a few hours? I can list the companies where you don’t, for sure. It’s so much more than its name implies — converting is just one of a multitude of capabilities offered. GC is one of my core applications that gets used nearly every day. It’s been an indispensable tool and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this app for any serious graphics profressional.

Used this app since system 7.x Slices, dices samples, fixes, freshens and arranges images in a almost impossible number of variations. GC is an INVALUABLE tool to clean scanned images saved as a PDF. In the multiple years I’ve used this app, it seems I’ve barely uncovered its capabilities. PLEASE NOTE: the author will work with you to fix problems. Superb example of why I love Mac.
