Almost Perfect

I have used GC since it was first included with Macs. It has served my needs extraordinarily well. Most fixes are much quicker than in other programs and without a steep learning curve. The slideshow capabilities have been a real lifesaver, and the ability to sort photos into different folders has made my life much more pleasant, as I often need to assign sports pictures from one shoot to 6 or 8 different folders. This can be accomplished in one pass, which is very handy. The included documentation is extensive and a printed manual is available at a very reasonable cost. There is a user’s group that is full of knowledgeable people eager to help. The price is really unbeatable for the capabilities, and I have only just scratched the surface.

Amazingly, the developer is just an email away and will often directly analyze a problematic image if you will provide a sample. Updates to the program are nearly continuous, and deal with any bugs and such as they are reported. I can’t even think of what I would ask more of this program or the developer.
